What you train
This is lightsaber choreography the way it is done for film and video. Every move is designed to read on camera, and nobody gets hit.
- Safety, stance and footwork with a saber
- Attacks, parries and spins that read clearly on camera
- Timing and distance, so a duel looks fast and dangerous while staying safe
- A short choreography in pairs
The style is Bertan's own cinematic way of moving, built on the same foundation as his katana work. More in sword choreography for film.

Common questions
Do I need any experience to join a lightsaber class?
No. The class is built for beginners and adjusted to each group. If you have martial arts or performance experience, you get more advanced variations to work with.
Do I need my own lightsaber?
No, you can borrow one. If you have a saber built for dueling, bring it.
How old do I need to be?
16 or older. Classes for younger kids would run separately: send a request if you're interested.
Is lightsaber training safe?
Yes. Everything is trained with controlled technique and no contact to the body, and safety is the first thing covered in every class. Film fighting is about making things look dangerous, not being dangerous.
Can I come just once?
Yes. Drop in for 350 NOK, or use a class pass if you want to come more often. Book your spot first, since a class takes max 8 people.
