What We Collect

When you use a form

The contact form asks for your name, email, company or production (optional), the service you need and your project details. The class booking form asks for your name, email, the days and times that suit you, how many people are joining and what you want to train. We only get what you type in.

When you email us

We receive your email address and whatever you write, and keep the conversation so we can follow up.

When you just visit

This site has no analytics, no advertising trackers and no cookies. Like any website, the server that hosts it may keep short technical logs (such as IP address, time and page requested) to keep the site running and secure.

Why We Use It

  • To answer your enquiry and give you a quote, or to set up a class. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before a possible agreement (GDPR article 6(1)(b)).
  • To deliver the work if we agree on a project or class (article 6(1)(b)).
  • To keep accounting records when we send an invoice, as Norwegian bookkeeping law requires (article 6(1)(c)).

We never sell your data, and we don't send newsletters or marketing emails unless you ask for them.

Services We Use

  • Formspree (Formspree Inc., USA) receives what you send through the forms and forwards it to our inbox. Because Formspree is based in the USA, your form data is transferred outside the EEA under the safeguards in Formspree's data processing terms.
  • YouTube (Google) plays our videos, such as the showreel and client work. Nothing loads from YouTube until you press play, and it then runs in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode. After you press play, YouTube's own privacy policy applies.
  • Links to Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, IMDb and other sites take you to those services, which have their own privacy policies.

Fonts and images are served from this site itself, so visiting a page does not send your information to Google or anyone else.

What Is Stored in Your Browser

No cookies. The only thing this site stores on your device is a small note in your browser's local storage when you close an announcement bar (for example the Spillexpo 2026 bar), so it doesn't keep reappearing. It contains no personal information, is never sent to us, and you can remove it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

How Long We Keep It

Enquiries that don't lead to work are deleted within 12 months. If we work together, correspondence is kept for as long as it's useful for the project and any follow-up, and invoices and related records are kept for 5 years, as Norwegian bookkeeping law requires.

Photos and Video

This site shows photos and footage from productions, classes and events. If you appear in any of it and would like it removed, email us and we'll take it down.

Your Rights

You can ask to see the data we have about you, correct it, delete it, limit how we use it, object to its use, or get a copy of it to take elsewhere. Email contact@battlebladeproductions.com and we'll reply within 30 days.

If you think we handle your data wrongly, you can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority, Datatilsynet. We'd appreciate the chance to fix it first.

Changes

If we change how we handle data, we update this page and the date at the top.
